Singapore - colour and culture
This gallery is a visual diary of Singapore shot over six years that our family lived there. Knowing that our family's time there was limited, I was someone in a hurry to imbibe all things Singapore, constantly looking for cultural overlaps and intersections. I was keen to explore beyond the greens and greys that Singapore presents on the surface. To me colour was a way to explore culture. I went after the reds of Chinatown to discover a whole new world - of shared public spaces, theatre, art - a whole cultural space that often remains unseen. This is a huge personal diary of images from which I would like to share a small collection.
